Louis Vuitton’s $10 Million Print Ad Campaign: ANGELINA JOLIE

Louis Vuitton has always been one label that’s been able to use some of the most beautiful and hottest celebrities in Hollywood for their Ad campaigns. They’ve also been very consistent at keeping the brand’s reputation by using strong, independent, and passionate women like Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Beyonce to name a few.  But for a minute there, they lost me when they chose Scarlett Johansson (her photo below is simply boring in comparison to others).  LV has always been a powerhouse couture label.  And for most that carry or own a LV piece (men or women) it gives them a  sense of self-confidence that can translate to a certain level of power, class, success, independence and accomplishment.  Which is why I believe  they’ve done so well by choosing celebs like Madonna and Jennifer Lopez in the past. Those two definitely bring the heat like no others! Bravo LV!

To continue on their brand reputation LV has finally chosen another woman who can be just as intimidating by her looks as she is well liked for all her wonderful acts towards society and global causes.  And now, we will see if their new spokes model Ms. Angelina Jolie will be able to deliver as much raw emotion through photos as many others have. Check out the new Ad that hit the web this week, where Angelina is posing here in Cambodia with the same bag she carries everywhere. Posing barefoot in very casual attire with very light and natural make up. The Ad was a special for the Louis Vuitton Core Values campaign photographed by Annie Leibovitz.

According to Time.com, Ms. Jolie donated a large amount of the $10 million dollars she received from the label to charity. Very nice Ms. Jolie! Now, you can send a few bags of the lifetime LV collection you’re probably also getting our way!   Do you guys think Angelina will hold up against her past competition? My guess is that’s highly possible!
